Storm Season: Emergency Kit Readiness for London, Somerset, Corbin, and Science Hill

Here is a picture with a few things you could need during storm damage season.

Part of SERVPRO's motto is to be ready for whatever happens. We want you and your family to stay safe during storm events. There are a variety of elements that can make storms dangerous: from lightening, to floods, to tornadoes. We have seen the severity of storms and we want you and your family to be prepared. Below is a list from FEMA on items most needed during storms that can cause immense damage: 

• Water- one gallon of water per person per day for at least three days, for drinking and sanitation
• Food - at least a three-day supply of non-perishable food
• Battery-powered radio
• Flashlight
• First aid kit
• Extra batteries
• Whistle to signal for help
