Time To Spring Forward and Change Those Fire Alarms

It's that time of year when we spring forward. We move our clocks forward an hour, and we change the batteries around our home. The best way to keep your family safe throughout the entire year is to regularly check those smoke/fire alarms. Here are a few tips on how to update your home for the new season:

• Have a smoke alarm on every level of your home and in every bedroom.
• Keep smoke alarms away from windows, doors, walls, or ducts that can stop your alarms from working properly.
• Check your smoke alarm monthly.
• Replace smoke alarm batteries every year, or more if needed.
