Quarantine Safety Tips

3/17/2020 (Permalink)

During quarantine, most people are going to be home more often than they usually would be any given week.

They may partake in an increase of activities that might normally be reserved for a weekend. Fires in the home occur more often than one would think. During everyones time at home, we are bringing you some tips to keep your home safe. You may decide to cook more often since people cannot go outside.

  • Always watch your stove and oven --never leave them unattended while on.

This may be a time for you catch up on some much needed laundry time.

  • Make sure to clean out your dryer vents after every other cycle or every cycle depending not the size of the load. If dryer vents get clogged with fuzz, they can overheat and cause a fire.

We have also been dealing with cold to mild temperatures during this home quarantine. Please consider the type of heater you are using to warm your home.

  • Do NOT leave heaters unattended or around furniture or blankets. It's not a good practice to use them in the bathroom, so try to refrain from that as well.

We are here to help during this time, and we offer proactive cleaning services to commercial and residential businesses. Keep safe Kentucky!
