Fire Damage Board-up

When fire damages occur in your home, places can be left open with holes and openings. Not only does this leave your home vulnerable, but it also leaves an opening for further damage. Here are a few negatives of not opting for a board-up after severe fire damage:

• Weather: the rain or snow (depending on the time of year) could enter your home. 
• Pests: animals or small rodents could make their way into your home. 
• Vandalism: when vandals see an opening, they typically take it. Leaving an opening that is easy for them to enter, could be dangerous.
