SERVPRO® of Pulaski and Laurel Counties Mourns Death of Franchise Founder

1/27/2017 (Permalink)

SERVPRO® of Pulaski & Laurel Counties announced Monday that SERVPRO franchise system founder, Ted Isaacson, passed away on Friday, January 20th.  “Ted was the most inspirational person I’ve ever had the pleasure of spending time with,” said Julie Roberts, Co-Owner of the local franchise, “He could fill a room with his presence, and every time I walked away from talking to him I felt like I needed to go make a to-do list of things I needed to get done!”

Ted and his wife Doris founded the company in 1967 in Sacramento, California after some time in the painting and cleaning industry.  His commitment to the system, helping change people’s lives, and his family, skyrocketed the franchise system to where it is today, with over 1700 franchises across the United States and Canada.  SERVPRO has been ranked #1 in the Restoration Services category by Entrepreneur Magazine continually since 2004, as well as a Top 10 member of their “Overall Franchise Opportunities” since 2010.

SERVPRO of Pulaski & Laurel Counties is independently owned and operated by Tony and Julie Roberts and is in London, Kentucky.  The Roberts also own two other SERVPRO franchises located in Berea and Prestonsburg.  Their local offices will be live streaming the funeral on Friday, January 27th at 10:30 AM.  The family is asking in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church in Gallatin, TN.
