Recently, 5 of your trusted local SERVPRO® employees attended the IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician Course (WRT) in Bowling Green, KY. The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification (IICRC) is a non-profit organization that develops a variety of certifications geared toward restoration services. Their goal is to ensure that consumers are getting quality service from technicians who understand the importance of a quick response and immediate remediation of their water damage.
Technicians Billy Wilson and Ronnie Henson of London, technician David Patrick of Prestonsburg, Crew Chief Madeline BenDavid of Berea, and Marketing Manager Ashley Kovaleski of Richmond were all in attendance for the class. They were all able to freshen up their skills and build upon their varying levels of expertise. Topics covered included safety, psychrometry, drying theory, equipment and supplies, emergency services, on-going inspections and drying services, restoration services, drying difficult situations, and specialized drying processes.
All 5 employees were able to test for certification and are eagerly awaiting their results. With the WRT course under their belts they are all trained and ready to assist you with any of your water restoration needs!
