SERVPRO® of Pulaski and Laurel Counties wants you to stay safe this holiday season. We know the day gets busy, while cooking for usually a high number of people, but it’s important to remember safety tips. Keep these tips in mind when cooking on Thanksgiving during the hustle and bustle of family visiting, children, and pets:
- Don't wear loose-fitting clothing around open flames.
- Don't leave your food unattended on the stove or in the oven.
- If deep-frying turkey, do it outside.
- Never put water on a grease fire.
- Store fire extinguishers in plain sight and near an exit - not under the sink.
Follow these tips, and we wish you and your family a safe and Happy Thanksgiving! We hope you don’t need us, but if you do: call SERVPRO® of Pulaski and Laurel Counties today. We’ll make your fire, smoke, or soot damage “Like it never even happened.”
