How to Prevent Bursting Pipes: Helpful Hints!

Water damages are going to happen, but following these tips lessen the chance!

Whether you’re in London, Somerset, Science Hill, or Corbin –bursting pipes come hand-in-hand with this bitterly cold weather. It’s never fun to come home to water damage steadily climbing the walls of your home. No one ever wants structure issues, but especially during these cold months. We’re here to help and bring you tips on how to prevent those bursting pipes and potentially save you a ton in damages.

Follow these tips:

1. Wrap Outside Faucets!
2. Caulk around pipes where they enter the house.
3. Disconnect garden hoses.
4. Drain in-ground sprinklers (check a manufacturer’s guide to this)
